Sdui empowers schools and school boards to achieve digital security – with a platform for communication and organization which complies with GDPR. The development began in 2015 as a school project, but the company now employs about 50 people and has reached over 2,000 schools across Europe. Sdui, with its comprehensive digital concept, has been of particular help to schools during the corona crisis. It is deployed as standard by whole cities and districts, giving them communication while protecting their data.
The Sdui app functions on all devices (web, iOS & Android) and connects students, parents, teachers, and school boards & media consultants in an environment complying with data protection regulations. Users have a wide range of functions to organize the whole operation of the school flexibly and digitally – it does not matter if this is with distance learning, in-person, or hybrid forms of learning.
In December 2020, Sdui was recognized as one of the top 100 most innovative education startups in the whole of Europe. At the start of the corona crisis, even the German government pointed to the use of Sdui as a positive example, on their website. The platform focuses particularly on communication between schools and school boards in a safe environment, to control the overall digitalization process effectively.
